My husband and I were first time home buyers and started the process a few months before we had originally planned so I wasn’t totally ready or knowing exactly how to go about the process. Marilyn walked us through everything, which was great because it was a bit of a whirlwind!! I had started by browsing houses online and she messaged me after I had been on her site to see how she could help, we ended up chatting about what my family was looking for and she gave me advice on where to start. It was very low key, there were no pressure tactics or pushiness on her part which I truly appreciated! And she was so sweet I really enjoyed talking to her.

On her recommendations we saw a mortgage broker immediately who made the pre-approval process super easy. We went looking for houses the day after with Marilyn and actually ended up putting in an offer on the second house we saw that day! Marilyn went to bat for us when the sellers realtor started being a little shady and we signed the final agreement the morning after we saw the house. Like I said, a whirlwind! From pre approval on the Friday to signing the paper work on the Sunday! I was expecting it to be a long drawn out ordeal taking months and it was a relief to not only find a home we completely love but to have it all done so quickly as well. Once the house was ours on paper it was then on to home inspections, lawyers, final papers, etc etc etc….Marilyn walked us through it every step and was right there whenever I had a question or needed to be talked down the ledge because of nervousness. It was lovely being able to shoot her a quick text or call her. She always prompt in answering and thorough with the information that I needed.
